Singing Futures (Currently suspended)
Singing Futures is a choir for young people from the age of seven. They are an all encompassing group, anyone who enjoys singing is welcome to join them. They operate in a family atmosphere, where everybody’s ideas are considered and valued. We value each member and aim to enable everyone to achieve their full potential within the choir.

They meet weekly, on a Tuesday evening between 6:00pm and 7:00pm, at Trinity Methodist Church, Lowestoft. And meet between early September and June. They sing, rehearse and prepare for concerts, of which there are two a year. They also include some dramatic moments to enhance our performances.

Subscriptions for “Singing Futures” are £10 per annum. If you know of any young people who enjoy singing and would like to join this choir, please get them to come along. You can assure them that they will be guaranteed a warm welcome.

They have their own website at

Having fun and developing fellowship

Various small groups meet both regularly and occasionally to explore their faith in different ways, for example through Bible Study or discussions. In addition, we also hold social events such as ‘Quiz Nights’, ‘Fim nights’, Bring and Share’ meals and parties as a means of encouraging fellowship and outreach. There is also a ‘Trinity Friendship Circle’ who meet regularly for fellowship.

Events are notified on our Notice Boards, in our weekly newsletter, our quarterly news sheet and where appropriate in the community news section of The Lowestoft Journal. Friendships are made and experiences of Christian living shared in both our formal worship and fellowship together. We are always looking for new ideas and ways in which we can develop our relationships with each other, with our community and with God. This is underpinned by a developing pastoral care system which encourages everyone to look out for each other.

Supporting Charities and Community Organisations

As a church we have raised around £2000 for various charities over the last year. We hold Coffee Mornings and fund raising activities in aid of various charities. In addition, a number of individuals are active supporters of charities close to their hearts and beliefs. Over the last year, for example, we have been able to make donations to Christian Aid, Action for Children, All We Can (formerly MRDF), MHA, Leprosy Fund and many others.
